FFA Trap Shoot for High School Students @ Lynden Shotgun Club

Each fall the Lynden Shotgun Club hosts a four-night Trap Shoot for High School student members of local area FFA chapters, “Future Farmers of America”.  More than 100 students from six area high schools (Ferndale High School, Lynden High School, Lynden Christian High School, Meridian High School, Mt. Baker High School, and Nooksack Valley High School), participate in a safe, supervised, and friendly, competitive trap shooting event.
This year the event will be on Tuesdays from 4PM until ~8:45PM on Sept 23rd, 30th and Oct 7th and 14th.  If you are a member or volunteer of the Lynden Shotgun Club and you would like to help make this a successful, fun and safe event, please complete the sign-up form below.  You do not need to be available for an entire afternoon or evening, or be present at all events to make a significant contribution. Volunteers are needed in the afternoon, at twilight, and in the evening, with the event wrapping up by 9:00 PM. A special shoot just for Moms and their sons!
5-Stand Flurry – Mom and son pair up for some fun chaos with our 5-Stand Flurry. First pair to kill the Green Clay gets the round for free and $5 added to a Jackpot. Each subsequent Green Clay smashed adds another $5!
Skeet – Regular round of skeet with a small twist…first shooter to kill the Green Clay gets that round for free and $5 added to a Jackpot. Each subsequent Green Clay smashed adds another $5!
Trap Doubles – Mom and son pair up at each station…first shooter to kill the Green Clay gets that round for free and $5 added to a Jackpot. Each subsequent Green Clay smashed adds another $5!
Annie Oakley – at the end of the shoot, all the Green Clays smashed will be added up and the winner of the Jackpot will be decided with an Annie Oakley!
